Your script is awesome, and just what I've been looking for for ages.

However, I can't use it because I've recently upgraded to WP2.3 and admin-db.php has been removed in WP 2.3.

Any idea of timing to make FeedWordpress WP2.3 compatible?

Also, if you have the permalinks point to the content creator’s site AND have allow comments, the comment link is pointing to the content creator instead of local. I’ll play with this some more as it may be the way the theme works.

Thanks for this! I bought Polled.info when I stayed up too late one night and this is going to be a great tool to pull in polls from all over the place. Running the b2 without any problems in FireFox. IE will not allow any dashboard changes to save, it goes to an “Are you sure you want to do this?” screen and the yes option just takes you to admin.php and doesn’t save anything.

Обновился FeedWordPress до версии 0.99b2 Затестил, на версии wordpress 2.2.3 корректно прописались категории (на версии 0.981 с этим был трабл, всё валилось ....

Thank you for the kind words. The ability to change the default author is an excellent suggestion and I'll mark it down as something to add, probably for the next release.

The idea for splitting sounds like something that would best be done through a filter. Once I am done with the current round of releases I intend to write some more documentation about filters and advertise my own services in writing them. If you're interested, get in touch with me privately.

As for Google Reader feeds, I seem to recall hearing some reports about them but I haven't yet investigated in depth. Could you give me an example URI of a feed that is causing trouble so that I can use it in testing?

The Magpie error messages are deliberately turned on in the beta release to aid in testing and debugging. They will be turned off in the final release.

If you want to use the beta release on a public website, you can turn off the Magpie error messages (and some other hypersensitive error reporting) by opening feedwordpress.php in a text editor and changing the line near the top of the file which currently reads:

define ('FEEDWORDPRESS_DEBUG', true);

... so that it instead reads:

define ('FEEDWORDPRESS_DEBUG', false);

I'm not sure what you mean by dynamic xml url. The problem you are having may be a bug in FeedWordPress, or it may be a problem with the feed it is trying to parse. Could you give me the URI of a feed that causes the problem you're having, so that I can use it as an example in my development and testing?
